Accessory designer Jiro Kawamoto started Candy Design & Works in 2010. The brand name is derived from the album “Candy” of Lee Morgan, Mr. Kawamoto’s favorite jazz trumpeter. The brand is devoted to developing a range of handcrafts inspired by American-style antique accessories in the 1920s and 30s. The proportion and structure of these antique tools are so good that they are considered perfect with Mr Kawamoto continuous improvement and refinement on their designs.
